Built on a High-Performance Blank

Deep Eddy starts with a Toray intermediate modulus (IM) carbon fiber blank. IM carbon delivers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio — light enough to fish all day without fatigue, with enough backbone to handle hard-running fish in demanding saltwater environments.

X Wrap reinforcement reduces torsional twist throughout the blank, so the rod tracks true under load. When you’re working a lure or fighting a fish, Deep Eddy stays responsive — it’s not fighting you.

A Taper Tuned for Nearshore Fishing

The fast-action taper is purpose-built for the demands of nearshore fishing. A responsive tip telegraphs subtle strikes and reads bottom composition, while the powerful mid-section loads quickly and delivers the lifting power you need when a striper runs or a blackfish digs into structure.

Faster blank recovery means more accurate, repeatable casts — the rod is ready to load again immediately, keeping your presentations precise and your cadence consistent.

Salt-Ready Components, Top to Bottom

Every component on the Deep Eddy is selected for durability and performance in saltwater:

    • Seaguide Alien Reel Seats — solid, reliable, salt-proof construction
    • Seaguide Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel Guides — built to resist corrosion season after season in the salt
    • Custom Contoured EVA Grips — comfortable all-day in wet or dry conditions
    • Delrin Gimbals — clean, finished look with a secure rod butt for fighting fish

Spinning & Conventional — Same Blank, Your Choice

Deep Eddy is available in both spinning (DE S) and conventional (DE C) configurations. Same blank, same DNA — built for how you prefer to fish. Both series offer three power ratings across matching lengths, so there’s a Deep Eddy for every inshore application.
